Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 3, 2026. This Privacy Policy details how Cardano Observer handles your data when utilizing our decentralized, open-source explorer.

1. Information We Collect

Cardano Observer is a non-commercial, privacy-first community utility. We do not require users to create accounts, and we do not collect personal identities, email addresses, or names. Standard connection records (IP addresses) are temporarily logged by our hosting infrastructure (Cloudflare Workers) purely for security, rate-limiting, and network stability.

2. Cookies

We do not use tracking or analytical advertising cookies. Local storage is strictly utilized to persist browser interface configurations, such as your dark/light theme preference.

3. Public Ledger Data

All blockchain transaction details, wallet balances, staking parameters, and smart contract contents displayed on this site are fetched directly from the public Cardano blockchain. These details are immutable and permanently recorded on the blockchain network.
